LADAKH RIVER RAFTING TOUR

The white water rafting down the Indus and Zanskar Rivers has different experience amidst Himalayan Mountains graded into four different grades as: -

Hemis to Choglamsar Bridge:
This is a 3 hours rafting with calm moving water without obstacles. It starts down from the famous Hemis monastery. You will float through villages of Indus valley i.e. Stakna, Shey, Thiksey, Choushot and then Choglamsar at finishing point. Rafting on Indus

Phey to Nimoo:
Second or third grade rafting starts from Phey around 12 Kms. from Leh towards Srinagar. Around 4 Kms. of fast and thrilling rafting has beautiful land scenery. The rafting finishes at Nimoo the confluence of Zanskar and Indus rivers.
Nimmo to Alchi: This fourth grade rafting takes half day and only experienced people are advised to undertake it. As it has powerful waves and requires very precise maneuvering.
